Dear Players, Sponsors,
and Volunteers,
What an awesome day of golf and fun! Thank
you so much for choosing to spend your
Friday afternoon and evening with us helping
raise money for the Lakewood Young Life
ministry. We are so thankful for you, and
for your contributions to Lakewood Young
Life. After expenses, the tournament raised
more than $18,000! That is absolutely
incredible, and an answer to the prayers of
the staff, committee, and volunteer leaders.
Thank you for making it happen. Because of
the amount raised, Lakewood Young Life will
stay in the black through the summer. In a
time when every nonprofit is struggling to
stay afloat, we cannot adequately express
our gratitude to you for helping to get this
area to a healthy place financially. Because
of your generosity of time and money, our
volunteer leaders and area director will be
able to continue to serve Lakewood teens by
loving them and pointing them to Jesus. More
kids will hear about the love and grace of
Christ at Lakewood Young Life, YoungLives,
and WyldLife clubs, and on our summer camp
trips. This is the best part of our
jobs....helping make this happen.
It was great to see so many of your families
join you afterward and celebrate. I hope you
liked the contests, food, and prizes. Next
year, maybe that putt won't lip out and
we'll have a big cash winner in our putting
